Did you ever experienced to travel alone, without any companions?
Well I did.
I’ve met lot of nice people on the way in the airport and actually they are all positively gifts from GOD. Yes they are! Because when I was in NAIA Airport, I just keep praying it, to have a safe and comfortable trip, I leave everything to GOD.
When I boarded inside the Airplane going to Sydney I’m very thankful because I am clear at the immigration, and when I arrived to Sydney I’ve met two new friends. Their name is Bianca, an Australian citizen since 8 years old but she is Filipino, a nurse and she working in Sydney and the other one is Donna, she is working in Sun Princess ship and we have the same flight from Sydney going to Brisbane. I’m thankful to GOD, I feel his guidance, and He bring to me Donna, because he knew that Im travelling alone and it’s my first time to travel abroad. We Filipinos are very united here in abroad and that is one I should be proud of.
After I arrived at Brisbane, I have just wait my bus in the Road 2 so that the driver will pick me up to meet Anne Jacobson, my contact here in Australia, she is the one who updated me through email, process all my papers with the immigration etc., She oriented me my personal room, bathroom, kitchen etc., She is pretty and very lovely just like my mom. She has a nice and beautiful house. She also gave all my kit for school and other souvenirs. She also gave me my first Australian Dollars, lunch allowance for 49 days of staying here. I will stay for about seven nights with her and her husband Michael and another new friend of mine, their relatives, Megan. BAM! I have a great and awesome day.
