I love environment that’s why I love Maleny
Had a great time at Maleny. For just 3 days of my stay, I really enjoy heaps of activities that Janet, Vince and Remy arranged for me. Remy prepared a fabulous food for me. She prepared a very delicious Kare-kare (beef with veges), Puto(Rice Cake), Bagoong (Salt fish), Prawns, and my favourite food Chicken Adobo, a real Filipino dish.
It’s nice to meet Filipino people in other country, spoke your own language, and understand each other. I really inpired with the stories of one of the successor Filipino lady named Remy Foard. She is very lovely and joker also like me. I laughed everytime she tells stories and I’m so very proud for her. She leave Philippines many years ago and got her own house her at Brisbane. She also have a family there and stable job. When remy tells a story about her life here in Australia you will inspired and you will be proud to be PINOY! we Filipinos are very deligent to work and aim a very successful life.
My room air-con is natural. The machine is the environment, in other word it is very cold. I woke up early in the morning to fix and explore Maleny with Janet, Remy and Vince. We went to Davin Linton Furniture Shop and Maleny RLS. David’s shop is fantastic, lots of unique furniture that made in woods and cutted figs or trees. In the other hand, Maleny RSL is wonderful, more interesting stuffs and food display in that market.
Vince brought me in a supermarket to the ingredients on how to make beer. I was amazed and now I can create a beer when I get back home. Cheers!
Our next destination is to visit Jill Morris, a very popular author that loves to wrote about the environment. We went to Jill’s house and the architecture of the house is unique. The shape is round and the setting inside is very different. FANTASTIC! They have a very huge land with different trees and plants. The breeze of the wind is very cool that freshens my breathing. We have a nice conversation and It is a self-fullfilling to me that there’s people who appreciate your video works even if you have just used a simple camera.
