I have interviewed some international students here in the Sunshine Coast. They have all positive insights about their experience here at Coast;

How did you hear about the about the Sunshine Coast?
Internet, and I came here to learn English at the Uni. I love the Sunshine Coast for the beach and for the sun, sometimes there’s a rain but its ok.
My Three favourite activities is going to the beach and I can travel, going to Gold Coast, Brisbane is very close, something else is just like the people are very fit here, they always do sports, and I like it, because in France not very active.
Have you been in homestay?
Not Always been here, I don’t wanna be in Homestay, I like to be independent.
I don’t really like the food? And very early? I used to eat like 8 or 9pm but here sometimes 5 or 6pm.
Would you encourage your friend to study here at Coast?
Yep – Definitely

Like Nina I went here with an organization in France that has a partnership with University.
So it’s that the agent who encourage you to come here? Or suggested?
Because they recognize me two years degree from before and also all this lifestyle

Yep
What are the thing do you do in your spare time?
Shopping, going to the beach, and traveling,
Is that mainly to the City to Brisbane or other places?
Other places, like Noosa up North, I would like to go to Baron Bay, I really like it, and Brisbane too.
Have you ever difficulties in adopting Australian culture?
Nope. Ohh probably the accent at the beginning. Yeah it was really hard.
Would you encourage your friend to study here at Coast?
Oh yeah.
What it is the best thing about the Sunshine Coast?
People are really friendly and helpful for international students. So it’s really good.

Through the study agency they pick out the best University that suit on my needs, in terms of heat, fun, cheap tuition fees, combined.
Did you have to learn English before you came here?
No, I don’t
What course are you doing in the University?
Psychology.
Did you enjoy the Sunshine Coast?
Yes, I do.
What do you enjoy about it?
Mostly the people and teaching staff they are really great, and they are also helpful and very kind so its very personal and I like that.
What are three activities you like to do on the Sunshine Coast?
Probably, hanging out with my friends and going to the gym and the third one is cooking together.
Have you comfortable with the Australian culture?
Yes, it’s quite simple they are pretty casual, and I can relate on that.
Would you encourage your friend to study here at Coast?
Yes, I will it’s the best experience of my life, so far.

Studying agencies, they told me it’s a good place to finish my study

In France, we have to pass an exam to come here.

Yeah, away difference than France much more enjoyable here.
What do you enjoy about being in Australian on the Sunshine Coast?
On the Sunshine Coast? Mainly the weather, the beach of course, 50 minutes from here, very enjoyable and international friend as well.
You get to meet a lot different people from different countries?
Yeah a lot, that’s a very important I think.
When you finish your course you will back to France or stay here?
Yeah, I will stay a couple of months to travel around Australia and I will back fortunately.
Do you have any difficulties in Australian culture?
Not at all, very nice culture.
Meets lots Australian friends?
Yeah my roommates are Australian, so it’s a very nice culture much more casuals than French one
How about Australian food, do you like it?
Yep, I like barbeques
Do you recommended to your other friends to come and study here?
Definitely
What would you say to them?
There is very nice place to study and there’s is very nice University and the country just great.
