Did you know that 95% of Opals are comes from Australia?
Yes it is true – most opals in the world are Australian Opals. We visit also Opals Down Under, at Glenview, the only one company that produces large number of opals here at Sunshine Coast. I have checked all the beautiful gems and I have asked the most expensive display and it cost $60,000. It is very luxurious; I can buy already a big house and lot for that in the Philippines – LOL.
They also showed to us the history of opals and where it is cut, sliced, and processed. The reason why it is expensive is that, the gems has a long span of time to process and it is difficult to shape and sliced.
I was amazed and I can say that everything is already here in the Sunshine Coast, the beauty of nature, all adventurous places, zoos, businesses, legacies, heritage, and also gemstones.
